About me:
I have been working in the early childhood education and care setting for over 6 years.
During this time, I have completed my certificate 3 and Diploma in Children’s Services. I have had the opportunity to work alongside some great role models and educators. This has fuelled my passion for this profession whilst enhancing my knowledge and experience.
I strive to be the best educator and leader that I could be. i am committed to attending training to further my knowledge as an educator as well as my team. The training I have received assists me in ensuring that each child’s learning, development and needs are all met with the most up to date resources, techniques and strategies.
I enjoy mentoring and sharing my ideas with fellow educators and believe I have the knowledge to teach and assist in creating a happy, professional and fun learning environment for each child that attends the service.
By being friendly and approachable, this assists me in leading a team of educators and building strong partnerships with all children, families and the local community. Building strong, collaborative relationships with families can be challenging but is extremely beneficial. Families are the earliest and most influential teachers in a child’s life, respecting families expertise is of utmost importance for children’s ongoing growth and development.
