about Little treasures singleton

Little Treasures Preschool and Early Learning Singleton is a newly designed, 122 place childcare centre located in the heart of Singleton. Proudly established in 2024, our purpose-built centre is perfectly positioned to support the growing needs of the local community. Every day, the children step into our 7 thoughtfully designed rooms, where learning, laughter, and exploration come to life.

Our centre combines natural and innovative play spaces, both indoors and out. Children enjoy expansive outdoor areas featuring grassed play zones, sandpits, bike tracks, a river bed, mud kitchen for creativity, and a sensory garden– all designed to inspire curiosity and connection to nature. Inside, our brand-new, openplan rooms create a warm, flexible environment that feels like home and encourages every child to thrive.

With passionate educators at our core and a commitment to nurturing young minds, Little Treasures Singleton is more than just a service – it’s a place where families feel supported, and children build strong foundations for their future.

Hello! I’m Macaila Page, and I’m thrilled to share my journey in Early Childhood Education with you!

It all started in 2017 when I embarked on this incredible path as a Certificate III trainee. From day one, I knew I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young children, helping them lay a solid foundation for their futures. My passion drove me to complete my Diploma in Early Childhood Education and care, and I was over the moon to be recognised as the Diploma Trainee for the Hunter region! One of my favourite roles was as the Educational Leader at our Greta service, where I had the amazing opportunity to mentor fellow educators and design engaging programs that truly benefit our little ones. After that, I spent three dynamic years as the 2IC, further honing my skills and deepening my commitment to our community.

Now, stepping into the role of nominated supervisor, I’m bursting with excitement! I can’t wait to collaborate with my fantastic team to create a nurturing, vibrant environment where every child can thrive. Together, we’re dedicated to ensuring that each child has a memorable start to their early years, setting them up for an incredible future.

On the time away from our amazing early learning service where I love creating a positive, nurturing environment for our community, you’ll likely find me enjoying time with my family and friends, going on weekends away. Traveling the world is one of my biggest passions, and I’ve already crossed a bunch of bucket list items off the list! But the top on my dream list is Antarctica! I can’t wait to check off this epic destination and complete another bucket list item of a polar plunge. One more of my dreams are to be able to tick off he 7 continents. 4 down, 3 to go!
